Insurance Verification: Patients are responsible for verifying coverage for requested services and will be responsible for any claims that are not paid within 30 days.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance company. A detailed superbill (itemized receipt) will be provided after each session, which you can submit to your insurer directly. Please note that Alice Tran Psychiatric Care does not bill out-of-network claims on your behalf.
Tips for checking your out-of-network benefits:
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
"Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? What is my out-of-network deductible and reimbursement rate for telehealth psychiatric services?"
💳 Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as HSA, FSA, and HRA cards.
You must keep an up-to-date payment method on file.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, or if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be required to pay a $100 cancellation fee.
Life happens - if you need to reschedule, please do so as early as possible so the appointment time can be offered to someone on the waitlist. Thank you for your understanding.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost before you schedule your appointment. This estimate will include expected charges for services reasonably anticipated to be provided.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions or to request a Good Faith Estimate, please contact us.
