Alice Tran Psychiatric Care is in network with UnitedHealthcare and its associated plans, including Optum and United Behavioral Health, for adults across Virginia. In person in Fairfax or by secure video, in English and Vietnamese.
UnitedHealthcare covers outpatient mental health care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. For most members the behavioral health side of the plan is administered by Optum, which is why your card or portal may show Optum rather than UnitedHealthcare when you look up mental health benefits.
What you pay depends on your specific plan: a copay, coinsurance, or the remainder of a deductible. Before your first appointment, call the member services number on the back of your card to confirm your outpatient behavioral health benefit, ask whether a referral or prior authorization is needed, and verify your cost share. This practice will also verify your eligibility and benefits before your visit.
Alice Tran is in network with UnitedHealthcare and its associated commercial and behavioral health plans, including UnitedHealthcare Community Plan for Virginia Cardinal Care, Optum and United Behavioral Health, MAMSI and MD-IPA plans, the Virginia Exchange marketplace, and Oscar Health Plan.
